Occupational Therapist Level 3 – Team Leader Hunter New England Local Health District seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist Team Leader to oversee a broad range of clinical specialties in an acute clinical setting. The role involves line management, supervision, and supporting clinical decision‑making. Remuneration & Logistics Remuneration: $116,892 – $120,680 per annum + superannuation + salary packaging Location: Belmont Hospital Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 3 Applications Close: Sunday 14th December 2025 Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day staffing and referral allocation across surgical, medical & rehabilitation services for adult inpatients. Provide line management and supervision, fostering teamwork and supporting clinical decision‑making. Maintain effective communication across all levels of staff and ensure efficient caseload management. Mentor and supervise staff, providing regular coaching and creating a supportive environment for professional growth. Lead quality improvement initiatives, research participation and health excellence award opportunities. Required Qualifications Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
