Overview Nurse Manager - John Morris Diabetes Centre ) role at Department of Health, Tasmania The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania’s second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service. The Role The Nurse Manager of JMDC provides leadership and ensures the efficient and effective provision of care based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework. Responsibilities The successful applicant will demonstrate initiative, resilience and a capability to build productive networks. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in contemporary nursing management practice. Demonstrated strong leadership, decision making and business skills. Qualifications & Eligibility Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Relevant post graduate qualifications. Credentialed with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA). Member of the ADEA or other relevant professional organisations. Details of appointment Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us. Salary $122,365 to $129,060 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type. Benefits available to eligible candidates Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
