Join to apply for the Senior Data Analyst role at Queensland Government The Youth Detention Operational Support team is responsible for supporting best practice youth detention service delivery in Queensland. Key Activities Of The Team Include administering a range of statutory, corporate and operational reporting functions developing operational policy and procedures and providing high level input into legislative reform working on complex projects aimed to improve operational service delivery in youth detention centres responding to oversight functions and actioning recommendations Please refer to role profile for full details. As Senior Data Analyst, You Will Specifically Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019 and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Provide subject matter expertise and assist in the specification, and analysis of reporting solutions, including reporting and analysing data and both qualitative and quantitative information. Support the effective utilisation of information, data and systems by investigating operational reporting and data quality issues, analysing information and implementing solutions, as part of the data quality and reporting program of work. Undertake detailed investigation and analysis and provide advice to management in relation to operational reporting, measure design and data quality issues, including assistance with the preparation of submissions, reports, briefs and other documentation reporting on data, data collection and operational information. Prepare a range of written materials to a high standard including dataset and operational requirements, memorandums, project and work plans, correspondence, discussion papers, documentation and reports.
