Operation Flinders is looking for a practical, organised, and motivated Logistics Coordinator who loves a good challenge and believes in the transformative power of the outdoors. This is your chance to support life‑changing experiences for young people across South Australia by ensuring our programs have the right resources, in the right place, at the right time. Reporting to the Logistics and Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in preparing our motor vehicles, equipment, food, and provisions for program and event delivery. You’ll help keep our warehouse running smoothly and our remote facilities safe, compliant, and ready for the next adventure. Your work will support our teams operating from our Richmond base and our iconic Yankaninna Station in the Northern Flinders Ranges. What We Offer Salary packaging options (save up to $15,900 tax‑free annually) Unique opportunity to work from our Yankaninna Station in the Northern Flinders Ranges as/when required A team environment where purpose, passion, and people come first Professional development aligned with your interests and goals What You’ll Be Doing Assist with coordinating, receiving, and dispatching vehicles, equipment, stores, and rations Support maintenance and safe operation of vehicles, plant, and equipment Help manage compliance with Chain of Responsibility and other transport requirements Assist with facilities upkeep Liaise and supervise contractors and ensure safe, high‑quality work is completed Support environmental improvements and pastoral lease compliance Help induct and support volunteers Contribute to a strong WHS culture across our operations What You Bring We’re looking for someone who is hands‑on, solutions‑focused, and comfortable working across diverse environments. High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) Experience in warehousing and logistics/transport Strong practical skills and mechanical aptitude, and equipment handling Good organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Knowledge of WHS and safe work practices What You Bring (Preferred) Experience living or working in rural or remote environments A trade background or similar hands‑on technical experience About Operation Flinders Operation Flinders Foundation exists to transform the lives of young people who are struggling with complex challenges.
