Senior Full Stack Engineer 6-Month Contract Location: Sydney (Hybrid working flexibility available)Contract Length: 6 monthsWork Type: ContractStart Date: ASAP Were partnering with a leading enterprise client on a critical digital transformation program and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a forward-thinking, composable architecture in a highly collaborative, Agile environment. About the Role As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, youll play a key role in designing and building robust, scalable applications across the stack. Leveraging technologies such as .NET Core , React , Azure , and SQL Server , you will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD implementation. Youll work closely with architects, product owners, and delivery teams to drive technical solutions aligned with modern engineering principles such as CQRS, Domain-Driven Design, and composability. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to solution design using composable architecture and microsite design principles. Build and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications using .NET Core , React , and SQL Server . Implement event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions . Apply modern software engineering patterns including CQRS , Domain-Driven Design (DDD) , and dependency injection . Integrate and manage Identity Providers (IDPs) , with preference for Okta , and oversee secure authentication flows and API access. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to bring clarity and technical insight to design discussions. Drive continuous integration and deployment practices using Azure DevOps , with a strong focus on infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred ). Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams and initiatives. What Were Looking For 8+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on .NET technologies . Strong hands-on experience with React , .NET Core , SQL Server , and Azure . Solid understanding of authentication and token-based security models. Proven experience working in event-driven systems and distributed environments. Strong CI/CD and infrastructure automation knowledge (Terraform experience is advantageous). Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical delivery with business outcomes. Exposure to financial services or insurance domains is highly regarded. Why Join?
