Master Data Specialist

Fresh To Go Foods are now entering an exciting and significant growth phase in the business and looking to appoint a Master Data Specialist. Reporting to the General Manager of Production & Quality, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and finance functions through effective management of product, supplier, and customer data. Main Responsibilities Lead the management and governance of master data for all materials, finished goods, customers, and suppliers within the ERP system (NetSuite). Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and approval workflows to maintain consistency and compliance across all master data categories. Maintain and reconcile product structures including hierarchical Bills of Materials (BOMs), COGs, routings, and production data to ensure alignment with manufacturing and costing processes. Coordinate with NPD, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate data setup and seamless integration of new products into production and distribution systems. Oversee supplier master data including pricing updates, vendor certifications, and compliance documentation for all sourced materials and packaging. Ensure timely product and supplier cost updates to support accurate budgeting, margin reporting, and operational decision‑making. Administer and support ERP master data functions, including troubleshooting, access control, and periodic system audits. Develop and maintain data governance documentation, process maps, and training materials for key stakeholders. Create and maintain ERP dashboards, KPIs, and master data performance metrics for visibility and control. Oversee the integrity of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) relationships and processes between 3rd party logistics providers, customers, and internal systems. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy, speed of execution, and reporting quality across the FMCG value chain. Knowledge, Skills and Qualities 3+ years’ experience in a Master Data, ERP Administration, or Systems Management role within FMCG manufacturing or supply chain. Hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP (preferred) or other major manufacturing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics). Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, cost accounting, BOM maintenance, and supply chain master data flows. Working knowledge of supplier compliance, inventory control, and traceability requirements in food or consumer goods manufacturing. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including reconciliation and validation methods. Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical data issues into practical business solutions.
