Heavy Vehicle Body Builder Apprenticeship Zeal Futures, in partnership with Borcat Trailers in Wetherill Park, is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as an Apprentice Vehicle Body Builder . This 48-month apprenticeship offers the chance to gain practical experience in a professional manufacturing environment while completing a Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations – Bus, Truck & Trailer. You’ll learn valuable skills that can launch a long-term career in the automotive and fabrication industry. Key Responsibilities: Assemble newly manufactured truck components. Perform welding, grinding, drilling, polishing, filing, and other fabrication tasks. Participate in the assembly and manufacturing of components to create truck bodies. Safe use of various tools and machinery, including grinders, angle grinders, guillotines, welders, and cut-off saws. The ideal candidate for this apprenticeship should possess the following characteristics and skills: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Commitment to both practical and theory training. Effectively works as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. Has a genuine eagerness to learn and develop skills in the field of vehicle bodybuilding. Pays meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality products are produced.
