Reporting to the Director of Funds, this full‑time and permanent position is based in our Melbourne office and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our business and its continued growth. This newly created position plays a key role in supporting the orchestration of services for our multi‑national Fund SPV client. You will oversee end‑to‑end service delivery in Australia and collaborate closely with Vistra’s global teams to ensure a seamless, high‑quality experience for our clients. You will: Act as the client’s primary point of contact in Australia, ensuring a high‑quality, seamless outsourced financial control and reporting service. Oversee all aspects of operational service management, including daily accounting transactions, management reporting, payment processing, internal controls, financial statements, tax matters, contributions and distributions, payroll, and other related statutory reporting. Deliver a high‑quality outsourced financial control and reporting service, including the preparation of AASB‑compliant financial statements. Collaborate closely with the client’s finance team on day‑to‑day processing, financial reporting, accounting and tax matters, entity management requirements, and internal management reporting to key stakeholders. Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to manage weekly vendor management and accounts payable activities, as well as monthly recharge and expense processes. This includes supporting ASIC‑related entity governance requirements and ensuring all work delivered by Vistra’s Global Service Centres meets agreed SLAs. Drive operational improvements through standardisation, process simplification, technology enablement, and effective use of Global Service Centres. You will bring in: 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in audit, advisory, corporate or financial accounting). Strong financial reporting expertise, including preparation of AASB‑compliant financial statements. Solid knowledge of AASB accounting standards. Experience managing corporate accounting functions in high‑volume transaction environments. Strong corporate finance and project management skills. Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and critical thinking abilities. Effective stakeholder management and clear communication skills across clients, colleagues, auditors, and suppliers. Ideally, an understanding of Australian fund and investment structures.
