About the role We’re looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant who thrives in a supportive, close-knit team and enjoys having broad exposure across financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. Based in our Brisbane office, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and insightfulness of our financial information. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Financial Controller and leaders across the business, contributing to a culture built on collaboration, trust and continuous improvement. Roster: Monday to Friday (X2 Days WFH) Key responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and support Board reporting Lead half-year and full-year statutory reporting Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies Support Board and Audit Committee paper preparation Oversee treasury, tax calculations and key regulatory lodgements Drive system and process improvements across the finance team Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative culture Qualifications and experience CPA or CA qualified Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce Significant experience in a Senior or Specialist Accountant role Strong ASX and statutory reporting experience High computer literacy, including ERP systems and Excel Proven ability to improve processes and optimise systems Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
