Plumbing Apprentice

About the Role Over your 4-year apprenticeship, you’ll develop practical skills in all core areas of plumbing, including installing and maintaining water supply systems, sanitary and drainage systems, gas fitting, roofing and stormwater systems, and using power tools and equipment safely on-site—all while working on real residential construction projects. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you should have : A genuine interest in plumbing and a desire to build a long-term career in the trade A valid Construction Induction Card A current driver’s licence and reliable transport (or working toward it) Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and in varied conditions Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious Any work experience or pre-apprenticeship training is a bonus, but not essential Your Responsibilities Work alongside qualified plumbers to learn installation, maintenance, and repair techniques Safely use tools and equipment under guidance Assist with moving and setting up plumbing materials and tools Help identify and solve basic plumbing and roofing-related issues Carry out basic site preparation, clean‑up, and material handling tasks Communicate clearly and respectfully with your team and supervisors Why choose an Apprenticeship with Prestige Staffing?
