This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career as an Apprentice Butcher at K A Quality Meats' in South Penrith, NSW. As an Apprentice Butcher, you will learn the art of butchery while working alongside experienced professionals in a full-time, hands‑on role. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable industry experience and working towards obtaining your Butcher qualifications. We also have an opportunity for a fully qualified butcher. What you’ll be doing Assisting senior butchers with the preparation, processing and packaging of meat products Gaining experience in carcass breakdown, boning, trimming, and portion control Learning safe and hygienic food handling practices Maintaining a clean and organised work environment Serving customers and providing excellent customer service What we’re looking for A keen interest in the butchery trade and a desire to learn Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work Good communication and customer service skills Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods What we offer At K A Quality Meats', we are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our Apprentices.
