About the Role The Assistant Principal Senior Secondary holds a vital role for our students in Years 10 to 12. In our holistic approach the Assistant Principal Senior Secondary is required to be attentive to the pastoral and academic needs of the senior years students and is required to link these needs and to monitor them closely to ensure all students successfully meet our graduate expectations. Professional qualifications in Education (Bachelor of Education; Master of Education preferred) and Religion as per Queensland Catholic Education Commission Position Statement for Senior Leadership Positions in Catholic Schools in Queensland. Leadership experience: Demonstrated ability in religious and education leadership. Demonstrated administrative ability. Demonstrated skills in communication and relationship development. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development including knowledge of contemporary educational issues at state and national levels with particular reference to Religious Education. Demonstrated commitment to the Pastoral Care of members of the school community. Involvement in professional associations. Capacity for leadership within a school. Criminal history and bankruptcy check. Current driver's licence. A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives vision and ethos of Catholic Education.
