The Benefits Variety of interesting roles Full time work Job Description Our client is an industry leading agribusiness with sophisticated Meat operations located in Comet and surrounds. They are currently looking to fill 1 Kitchen Hand Role, with work commencing from November 2025 onwards. You are required to work in a farming environment where dust and the smell of livestock is present. Not afraid of getting your hands dirty, you will be comfortable working with live and deceased cattle. All animal handling and treatment must be conducted within the companies guidelines on animal welfare. You will be a team player who is physically fit and more than able to handle heavy lifting. You will be paid under Pastoral Award – Level 2, an hourly rate of $26.58 per hour, with a minimum of 38 hours of work, per week. This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission’s annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 1-4 years of work with potential to upskill. Key duties include : We are currently recruiting full-time labourers. Duties include cleaning and maintenance of accommodation quarters, homestead, office gardens and yards to an acceptable standard as determined by the Station / Feedlot Manager. All employees are required to maintain and clean guest accommodation, which includes changing linen and general cleaning to an acceptable standard. All successful applicants will undergo a physical functional capabilities assessment and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. All sites are drug and alcohol-free, and all employees are required to be Q-Fever and COVID-19 vaccinated. You Will Have Assist the station Cook with basic duties around the kitchen, which may include basic meal preparation such as making sandwiches and lunches. Support with washing and cleaning tasks within the kitchen. Help unpack groceries and stock food as required. In the event of the Cook’s absence, provide basic / prepared meals for staff and guests as required. Cleaning duties such as cleaning windows, fridges, walls, furniture and fans, mopping, vacuuming and emptying rubbish bins.
