Valeo Construction Group is seeking an experienced Handyman to join our dedicated Warranty Team , reporting directly to our Defect Liability Manager . This role is essential in ensuring our medium-density commercial projects are delivered and maintained to the highest standard as they approach tenancy or are already occupied. Due to a multitude of projects nearing completion now and early next year, the company is now seeking a full‑time Handyman. About the Role You will be responsible for attending to rectifications and defects across various sites throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area. Working closely with our supportive warranty and construction teams, you’ll help ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Attend and complete defect and warranty rectifications across multiple commercial sites Perform minor repairs, including carpentry, patching, painting , and general maintenance Work autonomously while communicating effectively with tenants, site personnel, and internal teams Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism Travel across Melbourne (vehicle allowance provided) What You’ll Need Own vehicle and willingness to travel Strong handyman/maintenance background Proficiency with power tools Experience in commercial construction or medium‑density projects (preferred) Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently Enjoy variety and diversity in task, meeting new people daily What We Offer $40 per hour , plus vehicle allowance Ongoing, stable work within a respected construction group Supportive team culture with strong operational backing Opportunities for skill development and long‑term growth If you’re a reliable, skilled Handyman looking for consistent work and a great team environment, we’d love to hear from you.
