Occupational Therapists Required @ Central Highlands Rural Health

A wonderful opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist (Grade 3) to join and and work within our supportive, knowledgeable and friendly Occupational Therapy and Multidisciplinary Teams at Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH). Our rural health organisation was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health in 2019. CHRH operates across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria an area with some of the most picturesque countryside in Victoria, encompassing townships renowned for their community inclusion and spirit, as well as offering wonderful shops, wellness spas and cafes, all this within an hour drive of Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo and Ballarat.

The available positions provide a springboard for a great Occupational Therapy career, including:

  • exposure to broad clinical experience to deleop highly sought after specialised clinical skills
  • opportunities for involvement in quality improvement projects in both the occupational therapy team and the broader multidisciplinary team

The Occupational Therapy roles available maximises all the benefits of working in a regional public service, including: working within a multidisciplinary team of experienced, knowledgeable, supportive and friendly clinicians, with career progression opportunities including leadership and clinical opportunities across the continuum of care. Our OTT runs a supportive and successful supervision program that all clinicians are offered and encouraged to participate in. Details of Appointment

Permanent position working 80 hours per fortnight

Salary: VW20 (Grade 3 Year 1) @ $51.54 up to VW31 (Grade 3 Year 4) @ $54.49 per hour + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

All appointments to Central Highlands Rural Health are subject to a satisfactory clearance of a National Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check. Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of an immunisation assessment prior to commencement.

It is mandatory for all employees who work within the Health Care Sector have their COVID-19 vaccinations. Evidence must be provided prior to commencement with Central Health Rural Health.
