Live in Carer Disability 7 days on / 7 days off Recognise Support Services Location: Busselton, WA Industry: Community Services & Development → Aged & Disability Support Work type: On-site Posted: 1 day ago Join our team and work for a leading Disability Support provider Role: Permanent Full Time Live-in (7 days on / 7 days off roster) Annual leave: 5 weeks Salary: $99,432.32 + super (total package, not penalty rates eligible) About the role Recognise Support Services seeks a full-time Live in Carer on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, to provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in the Busselton Greater Region. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to help clients live independently and engage in household activities to thrive. What you'll be doing Provide 24/7 live-in care and support to clients with various disabilities. Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community engagements when other carers are unavailable. Partner with the Management team to implement individualized support plans to help clients achieve their goals. Foster a safe, comfortable, and enriching living environment for clients. Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure seamless service delivery. Document client progress and maintain accurate records. What we're looking for Relevant experience in disability support or aged care. Minimum of 1+ years of disability support or aged care experience. Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred, empathetic care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, flexibility, and genuine desire to make a difference in others' lives. Current First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance. Disability Worker Screening Check or Working with Vulnerable People check obtained within 3 months. Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
