This contract is suited to a candidate with excellent stakeholder engagement capability and demonstrated experience running complex tenders for goods, services and more. The Role Reporting to a Principal Category Specialist, the Senior Sourcing Specialist will work closely with operational teams, technical subject matter experts, suppliers, and internal procurement stakeholders to: Lead end-to-end RFT/RFQ/RFP processes ensuring probity, compliance and quality documentation. Develop and implement sourcing strategies informed by spend analysis, market conditions and category risks. Prepare tender documents including specifications, scope of works, pricing schedules and evaluation criteria. Conduct market analysis to identify supplier capability, industry trends, availability, risks and pricing movements. Facilitate evaluation panels, coordinate scoring and prepare detailed recommendation reports for approval. Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, KPIs, SLAs and value-added benefits. Support the establishment or refresh of corporate procurement arrangements and multi-supplier panels. Work with stakeholders to translate operational needs into procurement requirements and ensure contract handover runs smoothly. Use ERP and procurement systems to manage workflows, documentation and reporting. Key Capabilities The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with operational teams, suppliers and procurement stakeholders. Well-developed analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret spend, risk and market insights. Experience running complex tenders within goods, services, construction, maintenance or technical asset categories. Confidence to negotiate commercial outcomes and influence sourcing recommendations. High-level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare clear tender documents and evaluation reports. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver multiple sourcing activities within set timeframes. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems. This role requires strong tendering experience, commercial judgement and the ability to manage multiple sourcing activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
