Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing the consolidation of all financial reporting and deliverables of Northrop Grumman Australia, including project controls, Control Account Management (CAM) reporting, Rolling Forecasts, Cash Management, Capex, Workforce Planning and other ad‑hoc reporting as required. Additionally, you will: Lead monthly and annual forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting cycles. Prepare insightful management reports and presentations for senior leadership. Support cost allocation, overhead management, and project cost modelling. Adopt monthly and annual processes, maintain artefacts, coordinate business rhythms, and ensure accuracy. Coordinate the Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) financial requirements. Provide guidance to the business on accounting policies and procedures. Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commercial or Project Management. Relevant experience in the Defence industry (desirable). CPA or CA qualifications. Strong negotiation skills, influencing and stakeholder management. Planning and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously. Excellent communication skills and ability to conduct meetings and prepare concise oral and written reports, briefings, and updates for internal and external stakeholders. Must be an Australian Citizen; ITAR may affect suitability; need to satisfy police checks and employment screening verification. What We Offer 18 weeks paid parental leave.
