$30 - $36 p/h (Based on skills and experience) We are seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to work across our 1300SMILES Belgian Gardens and 1300SMILES North Shore practices. Job Description Provide clinical chairside assistance and support to the dentist during procedures. Deliver excellent patient care, both in the dental chair and at the reception desk. Maintain strict sterilisation protocols and ensure a clean, hygienic clinical environment. Manage dental stock and supplies, ensuring all equipment is available and in good condition. Perform receptionist duties, including handling patient bookings, enquiries, and managing phone and email communications. Assist with administrative tasks to support smooth practice operations. Qualifications Willingness to learn – Previous knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, or dental software is a bonus, but not essential. We’ll provide training and support to help you grow. Great with details – Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask will help you thrive in a busy, supportive clinic environment. People-focused – Excellent communication skills and a caring, positive attitude are what matter most when supporting our patients and team. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Receptionist is valued , but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
