About the Role As Director, Credit Risk, you will lead a high-performing team within QTC’s Risk Division, driving the assessment, monitoring and management of credit risk across client lending and investment portfolios. This pivotal role ensures QTC’s credit exposures are aligned with its risk appetite and strategic objectives, while delivering insights that influence executive and board-level decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of credit risk professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Oversee credit risk assessments and exposure monitoring across lending and investment portfolios. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums. Collaborate with Market Risk Analytics to deliver a holistic view of QTC’s financial risk position. Represent QTC in external forums and strategic initiatives. What You’ll Bring 10+ years’ experience in credit and counterparty risk management within financial institutions or government agencies. Strong leadership capability with experience building high-performing teams. Deep expertise in credit assessment methodologies, financial analysis, and risk frameworks. Strong understanding of institutional investment products, credit rating systems, and exposure controls. Exceptional analytical thinking, sound judgement, and attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
