Tutor (Primary) and Tutor (Maths Secondary) Join our team at the Kip McGrath Educational Centre in Bendigo as a Casual Tutor. We are looking for a Primary Tutor (English and Maths) and a Secondary Tutor (Maths) to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and development in a nurturing and engaging environment. What you'll be doing Providing individualised tutoring sessions to students in core academic subjects such as English and Maths (Primary tutor role) and Maths (Secondary tutor role) Assessing students’ learning needs and developing tailored lesson plans to address their specific requirements Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes Collaborating with parents and the educational team to provide comprehensive support for each student Maintaining detailed records of student progress and session notes Contributing to the overall success and growth of the Kip McGrath Educational Centre What we’re looking for A teaching qualification Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ academic and personal growth Thorough understanding of the school curriculum and teaching methodologies Ability to work collaboratively with parents and the educational team Strong organisational and time management skills A valid Working with Children Check is required before commencement of employment About us The Kip McGrath Educational Centre in Bendigo is part of a leading global network of tutoring centres, dedicated to providing high-quality, individualised learning support to students.
