Gate Automation Technician – BNG Australia HQ based in West Meadows BNG Australia is seeking a skilled and motivated Gate Automation Technician to join our growing team. We specialise in automatic gate systems, access control, CCTV integration, and serve residential, commercial, and industrial clients. About the Role As a Gate Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault‑finding, and repair of automated gate systems and related electrical/mechanical components. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and delivering high‑quality customer service. Key Responsibilities Install and commission automatic gate motors (sliding, swing, boom gates, etc.) Install residential and commercial gates and fencing, working with the Aluminum Works division Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control‑system faults Perform routine service calls, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance Integrate access control systems (keypads, intercoms, RFID, remotes, CCTV) Work independently and manage onsite tasks efficiently Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and company procedures Requirements Minimum 5 years of gate automation experience with brands such as BFT, Beninca, Grifco, Roger, GDS Solid understanding of low‑voltage electrical systems, mechanical components, intercoms, access control Current driver’s licence Strong independent work capability and troubleshooting skills White Card Childrens Check What We Offer Salary: $65,000 + Superannuation (scope to increase based on experience) Company vehicle, phone, and tools provided Full training on specific brands and systems Supportive team environment and long‑term career growth Work in a fast‑growing security and automation sector How to Apply Please send your resume to: Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industry Automation Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
