"Transition to Work" is a program that helps young people aged 15-24 gain the skills and confidence for employment or education. It provides intensive support like career guidance, job‑specific training, and job search assistance. The program also helps address barriers to employment, such as providing assistance with mental health or obtaining a driver’s licence, tailoring its support to the individual's needs. Your Role as a Career Advocate: As a Career Advocate, you will be a vital part of someone’s employment journey. Working closely with clients in the Workforce Australia program, you will: Build strong, supportive relationships to understand individual goals, challenges and barriers Celebrate progress and achievements, big and small Identify and address barriers to sustainable employment Connect clients with training, support services, and job opportunities Empower people to take control of their future and thrive in the workforce What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone who is: Passionate about supporting people from all walks of life A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in solving challenges Able to balance empathy with accountability and outcomes Motivated by purpose and committed to positive, long‑term outcomes Organised, reliable, and committed to meeting compliance requirements Previous experience in employment services, case management, community services, or training is highly regarded — but not essential if you have the right attitude and transferable skills.
