Senior Consultant/Associate Director, Construction, Projects & Assets, Melbourne Join to apply for the Senior Consultant/Associate Director, Construction, Projects & Assets, Melbourne role at FTI Consulting Base pay range A$101,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr About the Role We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced quantity surveyors to join our Melbourne Construction, Projects & Assets (CP&A) team, as either a Senior Consultant or Associate Director. Prior claims and disputes related experience is advantageous. What You'll Do Advise lawyers, principals, contractors, subcontractors, developers and funders on contractual, technical and commercial issues that relate to construction and engineering projects. Help clients resolve commercial disputes by establishing clear, commercial strategies, promoting early resolution. Where litigation or arbitration is unavoidable, assist as an integrated part of our clients' legal teams or with external legal counsel, providing support across the entire dispute life cycle, from research and analysis to mediation, expert determination, arbitration, or trial proceedings. Provide support to quantum and/or delay experts involved in the preparation of expert reports for the purpose of dispute resolution. Provide support and assist senior members of the team involved in the preparation and defence of contractual claims on construction and engineering projects. Analyse project data such as cost records, labour hours and quantity measures. Core quantity surveying duties including commercial and contract management and contract administration.
