About the role Quest Personnel is seeking experienced HC Drivers to join our client’s growing team in Smithfield, NSW. As a HC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across Victoria. This casual role offers an excellent earning potential of $43.78 an hour or more Location Smithfield NSW, 2164 Schedule Hours may vary as this is a casual fill‑in driver. Great opportunity to earn extra cash. Duties Drive a HC butterfly‑top, walking‑floor trailer truck. Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Plan and navigate routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation. Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as required. Load the truck at the transfer station via front‑end loader and unload using the walking‑floor/hydraulics system at the landfill station. Handle recycled goods typically found in household yellow recycle bins. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HC driver. Valid HC driver's licence. Previous experience with walking‑floor trailers, tipper or tanker trucks (highly regarded). Willingness to learn and be trained in walking‑floor trailer operations. Experience in coupling and uncoupling. Strong driving skills and knowledge of road rules and regulations. Excellent time‑management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer‑service skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
