This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. We currently have two positions available, one permanent full time and one permanent part time. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 September 2026 . What is our Outpatient Clerk role? This position is responsible for providing an effective and efficient clerical service, ensuring a high standard of care and service to all service users for the designated department, centre of service. This includes: Being responsible for front desk patient reception, clinic preparation, new and review appointment and outpatient letter processing. Maintaining the completeness of medical records and associated documentation and utilising the computerized information system to manage the patient's health record. It is preferable for one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor. Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract. As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment.
