The Impact You’ll Make in this Role How You Will Make An Impact As a Solutions Architect , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Deployment Architecture Design Define and document deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid). Design system architecture including data flow, security zones, and scalability. Infrastructure & Security Planning Lead discussions around VPN connectivity, AWS PrivateLink, firewall rules, and network segmentation. Collaborate with client IT teams on secure access, authentication, and encryption. Identity & Access Management Design and implement IDP integrations (e.g., SAML, OAuth, Azure AD). Ensure role-based access control and compliance with healthcare regulations. Technical Leadership Serve as a technical lead during pre-sales, implementation, and post-deployment phases. Provide guidance to implementation consultants and engineers on deployment best practices. Training & Documentation Work directly with client architects, IT leadership, and security teams. Translate business and clinical requirements into technical architecture. Your Skills And Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or similar AND 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT infrastructure and security. In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required: 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT infrastructure and security. 3+ years of familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, coding workflows, and EHR systems. 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), VPNs, and identity providers. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution. Three (3) years of implementing software solutions in a private, public, government or military environment. Skills include: strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare compliance standards; deep understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure and security; attention to detail; strong presentation and training skills; excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to balance technical depth with business context; ability to manage multiple interface projects and meet deadlines. Work location Remote Travel May include up to 20% domestic travel. Must be legally authorised to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
