Education and Care Practitioner role, Level 2B on our Enterprise Agreement Part time, 32 hours (Tuesday-Friday) Long Day Care In this role, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, delivering high-quality, play-based programs to the children aged 0-5 aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations. In this role, you will: Uphold the safety, rights and wellbeing of all children and promote a culture of child safety with a zero-tolerance approach to child maltreatment, abuse and neglect. Provide meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences that nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and growth. Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Create engaging and welcoming room setups that promote exploration and learning Document and reflect on children’s learning and development Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships, share insights about children’s learning, and ensure continuity between home and the service. What you’ll bring: An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Previous experience in a similar role and a demonstrated strong commitment to child safety Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, with willingness to learn and apply the Early Years Learning Framework A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services) How to apply: Submit your CV and a brief cover letter telling us why you are the right person for this role via the “Apply Now” button.
