Offering up to $170,000 for the Ideal candidate This role is a blend of technical expertise, client relationship management, and team leadership: Client Portfolio Ownership: Oversee a diverse and complex client base, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of all compliance and value-add advisory services. Technical Excellence: Prepare and perform the critical review of financial statements, tax returns (BAS, FBT, Income Tax), and management reports. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, train, and mentor a team of junior accountants, actively contributing to their technical and professional development. Business Advisory: Work closely with Partners on critical advisory engagements, including business structuring, strategic tax planning, cashflow forecasting, and general business advice. Trusted Advisor: Proactively manage client relationships, becoming their primary, trusted point of contact and identifying opportunities for value-add services. Quality Assurance: Ensure all workpapers and outputs maintain exceptional quality and comply with current accounting and tax legislation/standards. Are You The Right Fit? Qualifications & Skills Required 5–7 years of demonstrated experience in Business Services/Tax within Australian Public Practice. Exceptional Technical Acumen across accounting, taxation, and compliance frameworks. Proven Leadership Ability with prior experience effectively reviewing the work of junior team members. Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal Skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
