Graduate Statutory Planner role supporting statutory planning service delivery with hybrid work options at Manningham Council. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Assessment and processing of planning and subdivision applications, amendments, condition 1 plans, secondary consents, time extensions, and planning enquiries per Council’s Instrument of Delegation. Preparation of clear and concise planning reports and general correspondence in a paperless office. Supporting development of policies, processes, and procedures within the planning team and other Council teams as required. Providing excellent customer service and clear, concise technical advice to all stakeholders. Contributing to a service culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. About You The company is looking for: Completion of a tertiary degree in Town Planning within the last 2 years. Valid Victorian Driver’s licence. Entry-level candidate seeking a career foundation in statutory planning. A problem solver with excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and develop innovative design solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail in report preparation. Strong interpersonal skills to handle challenging situations, negotiate, and achieve positive planning outcomes. Well-developed organisational skills to plan, prioritise, and meet performance objectives and targets. Team player with willingness to contribute and collaborate effectively. Compensation & Benefits Band 5 salary: $81,962 per annum plus superannuation. Monthly rostered day off (RDO). Hybrid working arrangements available. Free on-site parking at Doncaster location.
