Finance Analyst, Corporate Finance Team - Pharmaceuticals - Permanent Role - CBD About the Opportunity A growing pharmaceutical organisation based in Melbourne is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its finance team in a full-time, office-based role. The business operates within the life sciences sector and supports commercial, strategic, and transaction-related initiatives across product portfolios, operations, and growth projects. The Role This role will support corporate finance and commercial decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with senior finance and leadership stakeholders, the Finance Analyst will contribute to financial modelling, investment analysis, and evaluation of strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, and capital projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analysis Analyse financial performance, cost structures, and investment returns Support evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, licensing, and partnership opportunities Assist with business cases for new products, expansions, and capital investments Prepare financial reports, presentations, and materials for senior stakeholders Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, operations, and R&D Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment About You Experience in financial analysis and financial modelling Strong grounding in accounting principles and financial reporting Exposure to corporate finance, transaction analysis, or investment evaluation Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling tools High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline Ideally CFA or CA/CPA Qualified Experience within pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare, or a regulated industry is beneficial but not essential Location Melbourne, VIC Full-time, office-based role This opportunity would suit an analyst seeking to build corporate finance experience within a commercial, innovation-led pharmaceutical environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
