Role overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team.
As part of our finance department, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulations across the following tasks: Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements & reports for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies; Analyzing, investigating, and reporting on variances between actual and budget/forecast performance of the business; Examining operating costs and organizations' income and expenditure; Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements; Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations; Preparing month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for management and statutory bodies; Preparing taxation returns for individuals and organizations; Managing the company's tax compliance including Business Activity Statements (BAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) & Goods & Services Tax (GST); Liaising with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangements; Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems; Maintaining internal control systems; May appraise cash flow and financial risk of capital investment projects.
About The Candidate:  The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields with 2 years of experience in a similar role.
