Retail Store Manager + Retail Attendants – Bottlemart Join Our Team at The Queens Hotel Gladstone Retail Store Manager – Bottlemart (Full-Time) Retail Attendants – Bottlemart (Casual) The Queens Hotel Gladstone is in the midst of an exciting growth phase, with our Bottlemart retail network now open in South Gladstone and Sun Valley , and further expansion planned as part of our $10M+ redevelopment and growth strategy . To support this expansion, we are seeking: 2 x Full-Time Retail Store Managers Casual Retail Attendants to help lead and deliver outstanding day-to-day retail operations across our Bottlemart stores. Retail Store Manager – Role Purpose As a Retail Store Manager , you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of your Bottlemart store, leading through the Queens culture of premium service, accountability, and results . You'll be a hands-on leader who treats the business as if it were your own — driving sales, managing costs, developing people, and delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience. Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage Bottlemart store operations on a daily basis Drive financial performance through sales growth, cost control, and stock management Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team Ensure full compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, and company procedures Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and merchandising Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge Manage rostering, ordering, inventory, and reporting Work closely with the Queens leadership team on promotions, loyalty programs, and marketing initiatives Operate and manage SwiftPOS and ALM systems for stock control and supplier management Required Traits, Qualifications & Attributes (Store Manager) Proven experience as a Bottleshop or Retail Store Manager (multi-site experience advantageous) Minimum of 2+ years of bottleshop or retail store management experience required Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills Confident operator with a strong commercial mindset Experience using SwiftPOS and ALM stock management systems High level of accountability and attention to detail Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Current RSA certification (mandatory) Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential) Physically capable of meeting manual handling requirements Australian citizenship is required for this position Retail Attendants – Casual We are also seeking Casual Retail Attendants to support our Bottlemart stores.
