Underground Mining Opportunities – Bullant & Federal Norton Gold Fields is one of the Goldfields’ leading gold producers, operating long-life open pit and underground mining operations in Kalgoorlie. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated personnel to join our Underground Mining teams across the following roles at our Bullant and Federal operations: Underground Electrician Charge-Up Operator Truck Operator Nipper Service Crew About the Roles Underground production and development activities Operation of underground mobile equipment (role dependent) Installation, maintenance and repair of underground services and infrastructure Charge‑up activities in accordance with site procedures (Charge‑Up roles) Equipment inspections, fault finding and preventative maintenance (Trades) General underground support duties including ground support, services installation and clean‑up (Service Crew / Nipper roles) Working closely with Supervisors, Shift Bosses and Mining Teams whilst maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and compliance What We’re Looking For Previous underground mining experience relevant to the role Strong safety focus and ability to follow safe work procedures Ability to work 7/7 or 8/6 rosters Relevant trade qualification and licences (Electrician / Pump Fitter) Valid operating tickets and competencies Charge‑Up certification Experience in owner‑operator underground environments Desirable (depending on role): Previous open pit or underground mining experience Sampling, mapping or geology field experience Tertiary qualification in Geology (Graduate role) Experience with Datashed, MPX, Surpac or similar systems Senior First Aid, Working at Heights, Forklift or other relevant tickets Why Join Norton Gold Fields?
