MRAEL are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Apprentice to join the team at Trans Vent. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and industry recognised training in a high-demand industry. Trans Vent is dedicated to manufacturing and fabricating spiral tubing and ducting for HVAC and construction projects. They pride themselves on quality, reliability, and service, offering in-house manufacturing and design assistance for a wide range of spiral tubing and piping projects. About the position: As a Sheetmetal Apprentice you will assist in the manufacturing of air conditioning fittings from light gauge metal and some welding. Assist in the production, manufacture and repair of a range of light metal products Measure, cut and bend materials using hand and power tools Learn correct safety practices Support experienced sheet metal workers on various projects. What we are looking for: A strong willingness to learn with a passion and genuine interest for the industry Hardworking and reliable Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Safety conscious and ability to work effectively in a team Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport Benefits of an Apprenticeship with MRAEL Earn and learn - Weekly wage Mix of on the job training (practical) and theory learning (TAFE) Nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Sheemetal)- MEM31922 Mentoring and support from commencement through to completion Access to our Apprentice Wellness Program Location: Penrith, NSW Work Type: Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday -Thursday, 7am - 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 1pm) - Overtime available at times.
