This hands‑on role is essential in keeping our fleet of vehicles, heavy plant and machinery safe, operational, and running smoothly. ABOUT US Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation was established in the late 1970s by the people of the Fitzroy Valley and is the largest and oldest Aboriginal resource agency in the Kimberley. The primary objective of Marra Worra Worra is to work with Bunuba, Gooniyandi, Wangkatjungka, Walmajarri and Nyikina groups in the Fitzroy Valley to strengthen culture, support community and create sustainable employment solutions. THE ROLE The Diesel Fitter is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of MWWAC’s fleet of trucks, light vehicles, trailers and heavy plant. This includes scheduled servicing, urgent breakdown response, diagnostics and maintaining workshop safety. Key responsibilities include: Carry out mechanical repairs and scheduled maintenance on vehicles and equipment Diagnose faults and plan effective repairs Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment Respond to urgent breakdowns, including in remote communities Manage parts inventory and order supplies Maintain accurate service records and job logs Ensure compliance with WHS procedures and safety standards ABOUT YOU We are looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Fitter who can work independently, responds quickly to breakdowns, and take pride in high‑quality mechanical work.
