CONCIERGE - qualia, Hamilton Island Hamilton Island’s luxury resort qualia is seeking an experienced and service-focused Concierge to join our Front Office team. As Concierge, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our VIP guests enjoy a seamless and unforgettable stay – from personalized welcomes to curated itineraries and flawless coordination across all touchpoints. Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the intuitive, elevated service qualia is known for. Why you’ll love working with us Be part of an award-winning, world‑class luxury resort delivering exceptional guest experiences Work in paradise – enjoy the natural beauty of the Whitsundays and live on‑island with subsidised accommodation Exclusive staff perks – including discounts on dining, island activities, health and travel insurance, and Family & Friends rates Join a passionate, professional team who take pride in creating unforgettable stays for our guests Where you’ll make an impact Support the Front Office Manager with planning and coordination of VIP and Beach House guest experiences Liaise with internal teams to ensure every guest touchpoint meets the highest luxury standards Anticipate and exceed guest needs, delivering warm, polished and intuitive service Assist with guest arrivals, special requests, payments, room set‑up and in‑house transportation Communicate VIP transfers and special arrangements with the Island Concierge team Maintain accurate guest profiles, histories and post‑reservation contact to ensure tailored itineraries Conduct site inspections and assist with internal and external guest communications Ensure concierge vehicles and amenities are maintained to the highest presentation standards What we’re looking for You’re an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for luxury service, an eye for detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs before they’re spoken. You thrive in a refined, fast‑paced environment and bring warmth, professionalism and poise to every interaction. To be successful, you’ll need: Minimum 12 months’ experience in a luxury or premium hotel or resort (Essential) At least 3 years’ experience in a customer‑facing role (Essential) Current open/unrestricted driver’s licence (Essential) International experience or exposure to luxury lifestyle brands (Desirable) Strong interpersonal skills, immaculate grooming, and a positive, team‑oriented approach About Hamilton Island Our mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder‑filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.
