If you are a Registered Nurse looking to work within a vibrant and exciting environment with a team dedicated to health outcomes, then we want to hear from you About the role We are looking for a Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered with the right to work in Australia) to help shape this exciting role and provide leadership to our clinical support team. We are looking for someone who is invested in going above and beyond, delivering emotionally intelligent customer service and patient care that aligns with our culture and values of creating centres of excellence. New graduate registered nurses are welcome to apply for this position. The core purpose of your role is to ensure the patient is supported throughout their journey. You need to balance your clinical knowledge and passion for patient centric care with managing the patient flow, so that each patient receives seamless and supportive care with a focus on health outcomes. Job Type Part‑time Hours (3 days per week) Must be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Key Responsibilities Promoting health and preventative care Patient triage Basic training in triage procedures is required to effectively assess and prioritise patient care needs. Managing recalls and population health Health assessments and care planning for patients attending the clinic Follow up and monitoring of patients with chronic diseases Clinical nursing; triage, emergency, wound care New patient information gathering and assessments Immunisations for children and adults Current immunisation certifications are required at time of application for both paediatric and adult vaccinations. Diagnostic services; e.g. clinical obs, ECG, spirometry Surgical assistance with minor procedures Stock control and management Hazardous waste management / infection prevention and control / cold chain management Working with referring doctors, hospital staff, pharmacists etc. Responding to clinical enquiries, e.g. pathology results and prescription requests Accreditation compliance General support for the multidisciplinary clinical team and assist in building community relationships Benefits: Bespoke well designed and newly fitted out medical practice with modern AI enabled technology for exceptional patient care Highly supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional development About Next Practice Next Practice has a passion for innovation, reimagining the patient, GP, and clinic experience.
