Are you an experienced infrastructure specialist looking to deliver enterprise-grade solutions across the full project lifecycle? Join our team as a Specialist Project IT Consultant and play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising technology solutions that drive business success. About the Role As a Specialist Project IT Consultant, you'll provide subject matter expertise and strategic recommendations while working closely with stakeholders, project managers, and vendors. You'll ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with security and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Design and implement infrastructure services including servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, virtualisation, and security. Provide technical input into project scope, estimates, risk assessments, and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with architectural and security standards. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Prepare technical documentation and manage operational handover. What We're Looking For Minimum 6 years' experience in systems engineering, infrastructure consulting, or technical project delivery. Strong hands‑on experience with: Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, routing, switching) Windows Server environments Microsoft Intune for device management Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper‑V) Cloud services (Azure) Storage, backup, and disaster recovery Scripting and automation (PowerShell). Industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, ITIL). Candidates must hold at least two industry certifications from Microsoft, VMware, or Fortinet. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn new technologies. Australian work rights are required for this position. Highly Regarded Advanced networking (BGP, segmentation) Security frameworks (Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST CSF) Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP controls Experience with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 SIEM, vulnerability management, and application control solutions.
