About Us Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is the nation’s peak body for fire protection. We deliver training, technical advice, accreditation, and advocacy to strengthen a world-class fire protection industry. About the Role Join our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 20851) and make a real impact We’re looking for an experienced Trainer & Assessor to deliver and assess nationally recognised training and non-accredited programs in fire protection systems and equipment. You’ll guide students through their learning journey, develop engaging resources, and share your expertise to help shape the future of the industry. What You’ll Do Deliver and assess training aligned with national standards and industry needs. Support students with enrolment, RPL, and assessment processes. Create and maintain high-quality fire protection course materials and assessment tools. Drive compliance, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical fire protection input to training and accreditation programs. What You’ll Bring Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or successor). Strong knowledge of RTO Standards and VET compliance requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High computer literacy and LMS experience (e.g., Cloud Assess). EAHL, FPAS Accreditation, or willingness to obtain. Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel interstate.
