Opportunity Full Time, Ongoing opportunity based in Wagga Wagga, NSW SCHADS 3B ($ph) + 17.5% Leave Loading + Salary Packaging Join us in supporting individuals to live a fulfilling and meaningful life in their own community Position Overview Rehabilitation and Recovery Worker: you will provide direct, practical support to participants that help them regain, keep, and improve skills, including self‑management skills, while also supporting participants to identify and nurture natural supports that sustain recovery. Essential to sustaining natural supports is that Rehabilitation and Recovery Workers work not just with individuals, but also with families and communities. Rehabilitation and Recovery Workers walk alongside participants, supporting participants to identify their hopes, aspirations and goals, and work together to develop recovery plans that help participants achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities Provide daily, weekly and monthly data entry and maintain file notes. Prepare various program documentation such as recovery assessments and plans, risk assessments, referral documentation and more. Walk alongside participants to develop and implement individualized recovery plans. Support participants in identifying and fostering natural supports within families and communities. Qualifications Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in a support role for people with a mental illness, generally a tertiary level qualification in Mental Health or Community Services. Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake travel for the role. Satisfactory Police Records Check (less than 12 months old). Working with Children Check. NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course. NDIS Worker Screening Check.
