We’re looking for someone with technical capability, a strong sense of ownership, and a natural drive to lead — even if it’s not from a traditional career path yet.At Hanes, our state-of-the-art Goods-To-Person (GTP) infrastructure sits at the heart of our fulfilment operations. This role is your opportunity to step into a real-time, high-output environment and help us push its performance even further.In this role, you’ll:Optimise the efficiency and uptime of our GTP and automation platforms Support preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing Work closely with Engineering, DC Operations and Planning to align labour and automation strategies Analyse system and operational data to maximise output and ensure consistent lead times at lowest cost Develop and improve scalable processes across low, medium and peak demand periods What we’re looking for:A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Natural leadership qualities — you’ve led a team, even if not yet in the workplace A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment Familiarity with automation systems (e.g. Schaefer/SSI) a bonus Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication Flexibility in adapting to rotating shift (morning/afternoon/night) essential. This is a practical, hands-on role with visibility across the full operation.
