Bulk Delivery Driver

Job Overview Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Location: Australia-wide The primary purpose of this role is to promote and foster the “Yes We Can” attitude with both internal and external customers and to represent Supagas in a positive and professional manner, complying with all safety and regulatory requirements regarding the Transport of Dangerous Goods, securing a load, and other road rules relevant to the vehicle being driven. Responsibilities Follow correct procedures and set an example for fellow workers. Check daily that the vehicle is roadworthy, equipped with all necessary safety equipment and is clean. Ensure the truck is serviced as per the manufacturer's requirements and Supagas procedures. Fill the tanker with sufficient amounts of LPG to cover all daily deliveries. Complete all daily documentation, including delivery docket and manifests, counts, paperwork, cheques and cash, correctly and fully. Deliver all orders and milk runs on the allocated daily run. Communicate all issues and non-deliveries immediately to the Logistics team. Respect all customers' property and requirements. Educate customers and ensure they handle and store gas appropriately and safely. Maintain a safe workplace on and off the road. Immediately report any factors that create an unsafe site for bulk deliveries to the Logistics Manager prior to delivery. Maximise utilisation of company assets and protect those assets. Check test dates of cylinders before every fill and report out-of-date cylinders to the Logistics team. Check compliance plates for all fixed installations prior to refill and report non-compliant sites to the Logistics team. Support the sales team and help grow the area by referring potential customers. Maintain personal compliance with regulations regarding Dangerous Goods Licences. Hold the correct and adequate driver's licence for bulk delivery transportation. Immediately report any vehicle or property damage to the Logistics Manager. Carry out any general duties as assigned and required. Promote the benefits of Supagas and Supagas products. Work in a team environment and work together to maximise the productivity of the team. Maintain safety, tidiness and housekeeping throughout entire office. Report any hazards or problems immediately to your Supervisor at all times.
