About Us: Right at Home is a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, dedicated to supporting people living with a disability, older Australians, and individuals recovering from illness or injury. As part of a respected international network, the NSW Right at Home franchise delivers tailored services under the NDIS and Home Care Package programs, with a strong focus on quality, respect, and client-centred care. Role Overview: As a Personal Care Worker / NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing compassionate and high-quality in-home support. You will assist individuals with a variety of personal and lifestyle needs, enabling them to maintain independence and dignity in their own homes and communities. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Support clients with domestic duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry Assist with medication prompts and health monitoring as directed Offer companionship and emotional support Provide transport to appointments, community activities, or shopping Support clients in achieving NDIS goals, such as building daily living skills and participating in social activities Accurately document care activities and report changes in client condition Follow care plans and work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and coordinators Qualifications Previous experience in aged care, disability, or community support (preferred) Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent (or working towards) Valid First Aid and CPR certification Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check Valid Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance Working rights in Australia A compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach to care A successful candidate will have the following: Ability to provide personal and domestic care A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Strong time management and organizational skills Willingness to participate in further educational opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
