Join to apply for the Recruitment Account Manager - Defence role at Citadel Edge Reporting to the Manager – Workforce Services, this position is responsible for the complete management of assigned clients/panels, balancing client relationships and business requirements with candidate aspirations. The Workforce Team provide customised workforce management and advisory services for Government and large multi-national systems integrators across the full SDLC Australia-wide. We provide Multi-Disciplinary Engineering, Project Management, and ICT staffing solutions to the Department of Defence and to the wider Defence Industry. We are growing and are seeking Defence and/or ICT Account Managers to join our team. This role will be hands‑on with both clients and candidates. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and experienced with driving growth in Defence and Technology projects. They will develop growth relationships via our existing professional network base, and also leverage off a mature and diverse portfolio of existing panels / standing offer arrangements. This role requires someone with measurable achievements, strong motivation, and persistence. Who Are We? Building strong relationships with assigned clients, ensuring closed‑loop management of assignments that meet client satisfaction. Leveraging our Sales & Marketing / Business Development strategies to grow our footprint and brand in both new and existing clients. Secure and source for project vacancies and opportunities in both existing and new clients, for technology and engineering projects that align with our key target market. Screening candidate shortlists to select the best suited candidates for each role. Conducting reference checks and initial interviews to ensure suitability of candidates. Conducting all administrative functions as part of the closed‑loop management function from opportunity to assignment completion. Ensuring currency of data on our systems. What’s Our Edge? Ability to obtain a Defence security clearance. 3+ years’ experience in recruitment and account management, in the IT and Defence space. Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology/business administration. A proven background in Contract recruitment and managing complex sourcing.
