We are seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Counsel to join our Wagners' team. This role reports directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary and works closely with senior stakeholders across the business. About You A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent and current legal practising certificate. At least 3 years post‑admission experience in a law firm or in‑house role. Sound knowledge of corporations' law, consumer law, and general commercial law. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. About This Role This is an exciting role that will see you work on a variety of legal matters. Responsibilities Provide independent legal advice on commercial, corporate, competition, and compliance matters. Assist with debt recovery and litigation management, working with insurers and external advisers where required. Support governance initiatives, including policy development, compliance reporting, board and committee papers, and minute‑taking. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and project documentation. Provide legal support on property, leasing, and development transactions.
