What I Do As a Motor Claims Specialist Listen, really listen: Customers dealing with major storm damage are often stressed or overwhelmed. I help them feel heard and supported from the first call. Guide them through the next steps: I explain what’s covered, what happens next and make the process feel simple and manageable. Make fair, confident decisions: I balance empathy with clear policy requirements to reach the right outcome. Manage claims end‑to‑end: I keep each claim progressing so customers can get back on the road sooner. Solve problems thoughtfully: Every situation is different. I think critically to find the best path forward. Stay across the detail: Accurate documentation helps maintain trust and momentum. Lean on the team: Weather events can create high‑volume days, but we debrief, support each other and stay human.
