Community Support Worker – Campbelltown Full‑time permanent position at New Horizons Enterprises Limited in the Campbelltown area. We’re looking for dedicated Community Support Workers to deliver mental‑health community‑based support. About the role This role supports the delivery of community‑based support in the Mental Health space, whether through living skills, transport assistance, social activities, or other required supports. Lived experience is desirable. It offers a chance to make a significant difference in your community. Key Responsibilities Providing support to Participants in the mental health community outreach services, to improve their independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, as well as other supports as required. Keeping customer records up to date using online systems. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers and key stakeholders. Completing risk assessments, support plans and other required documents in a timely manner. Working with people living with Mental Health issues. What you will bring to the role Qualification in Mental Health or Community Services, OR equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry. Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues affecting individuals, young people, families and communities. Experience in the mental health and community sector, with strong knowledge of services, Mental Health programs, NDIS and Understanding of Person‑Centered Practices. Valid NSW Drivers C class license, with ability to drive vehicles in this license class. Valid First Aid Certificate, NDISWC, WWCC, Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to starting with us.
