SAP SuccessFactor EC Payroll Consultant Job Title: SAP SuccessFactor Employee Central Consultant Location: Sydney, NSW Job Type: FTP Job Description: This role involves leading the configuration and implementation of SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, ensuring alignment with business processes and technical integrations. Responsibilities Configure the application to meet customer needs while providing best‑practice guidance. Design, implement, and support complex business processes in an SAP SuccessFactors environment. Lead and manage the payroll workstream to drive project success. Conduct gap analysis and develop strategic roadmap/blueprint. Monitor solutions proactively and suggest improvement areas. Handle incidents, error analysis, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving. Collaborate across teams, interact with customer top management, and lead discovery meetings. Work independently, self‑directed, and results‑oriented. Continuously upgrade self and customers with bi‑annual SuccessFactors upgrades. Qualifications / Experience 3+ full life‑cycle SuccessFactors EC Payroll implementations. Experience leading, configuring and implementing large enterprise SuccessFactors Payroll projects, primarily AUS deployments. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification. In‑depth knowledge of payroll components (wage types, benefits integration, deductions, off‑cycle activity, garnishments, accumulations, date and period modifiers, reporting). Experience with payroll integrations and UI mashups, Payroll Control Center. Knowledge of wage taxes, FI mapping, infotype association and permissibility rules. Understanding of time off rules, time objects, time profiles, types and timesheets. Experience with SuccessFactors Integration Center. Strong executive presence, ability to interact with top management. Experience in incidents handling, troubleshooting, error analysis. Knowledge of additional modules is advantageous. Prior involvement in presales and discovery meetings is a plus. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
