This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of housing construction education and contribute to Melbourne Polytechnic’s reputation for innovation and quality. Key Responsibilities Provide educational leadership and ensure high‑quality VET program delivery Lead, coach, and mentor teaching staff to achieve excellence Manage program administration, timetables, rosters, and budgets Oversee compliance with RTO standards and regulatory requirements Engage with industry and stakeholders to validate and enhance training programs Drive continuous improvement strategies for student success Skills And Experience Required AQF6+ qualification in adult or vocational education and training Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) Relevant qualification in building/construction or related discipline Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in housing construction Demonstrated educational leadership and team management skills Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities Knowledge of VET sector compliance and quality assurance Additional Requirements A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) A National Police Check How To Apply Click Apply to submit your application through Melbourne Polytechnic’s careers portal.
